Thank you so much to
Ray Rosettani and the “Selling Fort Erie Team”
for choosing to sponsor
Community Living~Fort Erie
by bringing back the Fort Erie Corporate Challenge!
The all-day event was held at Bridgewater Country Club in Fort Erie on June 11th, beginning at 7 AM. Eighteen teams registered. Congratulations to the one team that didn’t have enough team members show up but still showed their spirit by staying for the whole day sharing their beverages and conversation with those passing by.
Each team was required to enter 13 adults, one of which would act as a referee. Each team wore “team” T-shirts. The “team tents” were decorated with different themes. Some had mascots and the “Town Troopers” even started the day with a march led by Mayor Wayne Redekop. Thank you to all companies for sponsoring their teams and for making the day such a success!
Giant 91.7 FM Classic Rock was on site all day providing background music and made their speaker system available for use at the event.
Thank you to Karen Pilote of “Fit Over 40” for starting out the day at 8 am with a morning exercise period.
Part of the “bonus points” allocated to the teams were earned by attending previous events. They included a blood drive (April 26th), the Canada 150th Mosaic Tile Painting (June 6&7), donating non-perishable food for C.O.P.E. (June 10th) and attending a Patio Party at Bridgewater Country Club the evening of June 10th.
Above are pictures of the cupboards at C.O.P.E. before and after the
Corporate Challenge Food Drive.
Thank you to everyone who donated to this local program.
