“Jackie” was a highly valuable and respected member of the Community Living~Fort Erie team. The impact of her loss on the Organization, fellow employees and people supported has been truly devastating.
Jackie recently celebrated twenty five years of dedicated service. She applied to our agency as Secretary / Administrative support staff in October 1991, but after years of hard work and commitment she was promoted to Manager of Human Resources & Operations in 2003. She was a wonderful employee who understood the meaning of the word “team.”
Jackie was always encouraging and supportive! She made many great contributions to Community Living~Fort Erie and has helped us move forward in numerous ways. Her work here will never be forgotten!
Jackie was always the first to step up to help others. Whether it was a gift card to someone in need, Christmas donations to families or a helping hand to our employees! She had the biggest heart and was always so giving. Jackie was kind, sweet and thoughtful. She loved angels and was often referred to as “an angel” by others.
Jackie was an amazing person and everyone at Community Living~Fort Erie is better for having known her. For those of us that had the privilege of calling her “friend” outside of work, we were humbled by her kindness and compassion to everyone around her.
Our sincere condolences go out to her family. She was the beloved wife and best friend to Joe for 33 years. Her daughter Amanda was her pride and joy and Jackie was a devoted and loving mother! She deeply loved her family and her cherished dog, Buster. She will be greatly missed by family, friends and colleagues. We are all deeply saddened.
A staff award to honour the memory of Jackie will be announced in September at our Stakeholders meeting.
