The Transitional-Age Youth (TAY) Summer Program addresses the needs of youth with intellectual challenges between the ages of 14 and 21. Participants in the program will receive pre-employment training, paid and unpaid placement opportunities that match their individual goals and interests. The skills they build will help ease the transition into adulthood and prepare young adults to live meaningful lives.
The program promotes full inclusion for youth with intellectual challenges living in the community. We focus on individual responses and assist people to achieve personal outcomes through the development of a person-centered plan.
